Friday October 2 (open to all but registration is appreciated)

10.00-11.30am: Opening plenary session with Moya Bailey (Northeastern), Anne Cong-Huyen (Whittier College),  Amanda Phillips (University of California Davis), and Alexis Lothian (UMD). Moderated by Martha Nell Smith (UMD).

11.45am-12.30pm: Video Showcase Part One: transformative digital projects from across the US

12.30-1.30pm: Lunch

1.30-2.15pm: Video Showcase Part Two: transformative digital projects from across the US

2.30-4pm: Emergent Intersections of Disability and the Digital: Roundtable with M.W. Bychowski (George Washington), Angel Love Miles (UMD), Izetta Mobley (UMD), and Jarah Moesch (UMD). Moderated by Beth Haller (Towson University). This panel will not be livestreamed.

4.30pm-6.30pm: Keynote lecture from Lisa Nakamura (University of Michigan). Introduced by Jason Farman.
“The Unwanted Digital Labor of Social Justice: Race, Gender, and the Origins of Call Out Culture.”

Saturday October 3 (registered participants only)

THATCamp #transformDH will begin at 10am in 1105 Prince Frederick Hall. The day’s schedule will look approximately like this:

12-12.45pm: Breakout session 2
1-2pm: Lunch
2-2.45pm: Breakout session 3
3-3.45pm: Breakout session 4′
4pm: Closing discussion
